Registered Master Builder House of the Year Awards

All category entrants in each region are judged by the same panel of two judges. The judges go through each property and decide on the score against the set criteria for its category. Each property is judged against a scorecard of 2000 points evaluating Workmanship, Design, Style and Functionality.

Gold Awards are given to entrants who achieve 90% of the available points and are judged to be at least 80% above industry standard.

Silver Awards are given to entrants who receive at least 82% of the available points and are judged to be at least 65% above the industry standard.

Bronze Awards are given to entrants who receive at least 75% of the available points and are judged to be at least 50% above the industry standard.

The Regional Category Award is awarded to the highest-scoring Gold Award Winner.
